Smoking, in Some Cases, Offers Joint Protection
Nicotine and other evolving studies show that those who smoke are immune to joint damages. The cartilage in the joint are said to be healthy in smokers insofar as non-smokers are compared. Non-smokers have high incidence of joint damage and replacement. The exact cause and effect related to biology and chemistry of such findings is evolving, but it is the findings of study conducted between smokers and non-smokers.
