Ectrodactyly is understood as abortion of digits. Usually the middle digits are replaced with a cleft while one or more digits missing on either foot or hand called as lobster claw hand or foot. People symptomatic with ectrodactyly complain of hearing impairment. The structural anomaly of hand and foot can be corrected by surgical measures.
