Steps to do a science project
The first and most important step for making a science project is the selection of a good and interesting topic. It should be a learning experience, finding answers about a particular topic with ones knowledge. The second step is to collect information about the chosen topic. This can be done from magazines, the internet, friends, articles, books, pamphlets, newspapers, and people. Notes about the source of information should be made.
The third step is to execute the project by scientific method involving many phases. Statement of the aim of the experiment or the project should be made that is, what we are finding out. Then selection of variable and statement of hypothesis should be done. Description of and changing of the variable should be done. Finally, we have to decide on and give a description of method to measure the results. The fourth step involves carrying out the experiment as per the third steps data, making written notes as we go along. The next step involves the results of the experiment in the form of graphs and charts. The sixth step is to display and construct the project neatly in a way that it is understood by others.
The next step is to write a report on the project by stating all about it. In other words, what and how the project was done should be written in a neat way. The source of the information should be stated. The project report must include the following points- the title page, table of contents, introduction, hypothesis and research, procedure or experiment, results, conclusion, credits or references including the sources. The final step is the presentation of the project. This can be done by practicing to explain the project to a person, say a friend.
